Wasatch Camera Club Field Trips

April 8, Running Water and Waterfalls. We will meet at 8:30AM at "Lost Canyon". This is located at Eagle View Drive (11180 South) and Wasatch Blvd. The "Lost Canyon" subdivision is across from an LDS church. After you enter the subdivision, continue until the road curves to the left and park along the road. There is a green sign that says "Rocky Mouth." We will meet at this trail head. The trail is between a chain link fence and a wrought iron fence. We will begin our hike at 8:30. It is less than a 10 minute hike to the waterfall. The first part of the hike is fairly steep.

At the waterfall we will discuss how to shoot waterfalls and running water. A 50 or 100 speed film will work well. It is recommended that you bring a warming (81B) filter.

There is not a lot of water (as of 4-2) but there are still some good shots. I expect we will be finished by 10-10:30. We may decide afterwards to head up Little Cottonwood Canyon for some additional running water shots. Any questions? Call me at 253-4332.
