Wasatch Camera Club June Field Trip

June 11-13, San Rafael Swell. This remote section of Utah offers features an exceptional landscape. Deep canyons carve through colorful rocks. Names such as Devils Canyon, Muddy Creek and Black Dragon Wash define this desolate area. There are several slot canyons in the area. Cactus and other flowers should be in bloom. We will probably run across some petroglyphs and other rock art. There are few accommodations in the area so we will do some camping. One night will probably be at Goblin Valley State Park. Since we will have a new moon, we will be able to shoot star trails. Bring your tripod, cable release and extra batteries! It will no doubt be hot so you must have plenty of water.
