I was able to get this shot after a 3 mile hike into Arizona. The Colorado Plateau has many interesting formations where ancient sea beds have been petrified into sandstone. The blue sky with white clouds contrasts nicely with the orange sandstone. A small aperture gave me enough depth of field to capture the grains of sand in the foreground. |
