Mesa Arch in Canyonlands National Park is different than the arches found in nearby
Arches National Park. It has remained while the plateau has eroded away from it.
What makes it unique is the 500 foot cliff beneath it. The cliff is at a slight angle that
reflects the first sun light up under the arch causing it to glow orange. I have found
it is one of the few places where the pictures actually turn out better than what the
eye sees when you are there.
